Big mistakes!

Sometimes even experienced people in marketing make big mistakes. Just like the old saying that it is "hard to see the forest for the trees". Sometimes we focus so much on one thing that when we step back and realize we have missed some big things. Recently I helped two sites increase their sites conversion rate. Both had an increase of over 30%. What is weird is both are sites of guys who are marketing specialists but from my angle and some talent that I have developed over the years I was able to help them bring in 30% more money. Both sites had a lot of website visitors coming in each day. With a few tweaks I helped them optimize their site to convert those visitors into buyers.<p>Even if you use a site like TopSurfer.com to get the visitors to come to your site, are they going to buy? "If you build it, they will come" is not true when it comes to websites. This also is NOT true: "if they come, they will buy". Both getting visitors to your website and converting visitors into buyers take work and knowledge. Knowledge that I have. Could you use 30% more buyers? Contact me and let me take a look at your site. I have over 40 things that I look for and I even will set up a heat map on your site to see exactly what are your hot spots, what your visitors are looking at and clicking on.
New!

I am one of those rare individuals that have actually made a living over the last 12 years with an online business.
And believe it or not in the past I really haven't made much of my money using network marketing companies.
The reason I haven't really gotten into network marketing is because I really haven't liked very many of them.

Either, I didn't like their product or service or I didn't like the compensation plan.
Now I know some network marketers will tell you that the product or service really doesn't matter,
it is the compensation plan that makes the company worth while.
But I disagree. For example, what if you get a whole bunch of people to join under you in some network marketing company that sells juice or something.
Then if times get tough for people and they try to think of what things they can cut and save money on, that juice is going to be 1 of the first things to go.
So you need a product that people like, that they can't live without.
And of course, The compensation plan has to be a good 1 as well.

I did join a network marketing company a few years ago, and I did pretty good in it.
but the problem was is that the company has been around for quite a while and a lot of people have already heard of them.
So the people I was advertising to had already been in the program or they had already decided not to join.

So, one of the best times to get into a network marketing companies is at the very first.
I was thrilled when I found this NEW company that I liked their product and their compensation program.

The company is called Solavei.

Now the product is something most people are already using and large majority of us can't live without them.
That is of course our cell phones.
Now hold on a minute if you're like me, you may not want to give up your current cell phone or maybe you even really like your cell phone provider.
And if you're like me you might even be locked into a contract.

However, is your current cell phone provider allowing you to earn money for people you refer to them?
Of course not, the top 3 cell phone companies spend millions and millions of dollars on expensive ads trying to get each other's customers.
Solavei will pay YOU to help them market for them. And they will pay you residually. That means that as people get their cell phones and keep them, you will keep getting paid each month. Now if you are not locked into a contract you can switch to Solavie and keep your current number and it is likely you can even keep your current cell phone. Check this out: with Solavie you get unlimited texting, unlimited calling AND unlimited data for only $49 a month. Check coverage in your area

With me locked in a contract, I decided to get a new phone from Solavei and try it out until my contract with my other provider had expired.
Remember with Solavei you are not locked into a contract, so if you don't like it you can cancel it at any time.
Currently they have 3 Android phones to choose from or you can also just order a SIM card from them and try their service in your current cell phone.

For now I ordered just the cheapest phone that they had. And a little secret I found out is there's a free Android app called Fox Fi.
This app allows you to turn your phone into a hotspot which means that other devices like laptops, tablets or really anything else that uses WiFi can connect to the internet through your phone. The other day my home internet went down so I turned on Foxfi and I was back online again within minutes. My kids can get on the internet on their ipods, and other things while we are on road trips in the car.
I thought about waiting until my contract with my other provider had had expired. Butt...
the great thing about Solavie is, it has just barely launched which means this is the best time to get in.

Remember I have been successfully marketing online for the past 12 years and right now I am building a team in Solavei.
If you would like to be part of that team Click Here below and lets get started.

Click Here To Be Part Of My Team At Solavei

I paused hundreds of accounts today

, Today I went through and paused hundreds of accounts. It appears that a lot of affiliate programs have gone under and when they do they don't renew their domain name. When that happens companies swoop in and buy up the domain name and add content on it. Also they seem to add code on it that tells browsers to not load the site inside of a "Frame". In the webpage world a frame is when a webpage is loaded inside of a section of the browser window. We do this when people surf or look at the links from solo-ads. The surfbar takes up the upper/smaller portion of the browser window and the website being advertised is loaded in the larger/bottom half. Some websites add special code that prevents being loaded inside of a frame. This breaks our rules as it is very frustrating when you are surfing and all of the sudden the surfbar disappears. If that ever happens do not press the back button. A pop-up should appear and ask if you really wanted to leave the surfing.
Just follow it's instructions and you will be able to successfully report it and get back to surfing. You may want to review the sites that you have submitted at TopSurfer. Make sure that they do not break any terms. If they do then we will be pausing your account really soon. For repeat offenders we end up just cancelling their account. So make sure you know our rules and for the sake of everyone using TopSurfer you keep them.

New ways to make money in 2012

Okay we made it through December, one of the slowest marketing months for programs, etc. online. Now we are hitting January one of the busiest. Are you taking advantage of it? Or are you letting your competition have full access to your potential customers? It's time to get working to make 2012 better than 2011. If you do nothing different then nothing is going to change.
One thing different http://TopSurfer.com is doing is helping you spread the word. One way to do that is to post videos on youtube about your site. Each day millions of people search youtube for videos. The more videos on youtube about your site the better. Also, I found out that if your site has links in description in videos on youtube then google will rank your site higher. So more videos is a great thing. And here is a great way to make money. Make videos about other people's websites. If you get good at it you can easily make anywhere from $8-12 an hour working at home whenever you want. just watch this video for more info: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SSePt7SMDg8
Soon you will be able to make money by posting blogs about sites and taking surveys, stay tuned for more info on that.

Holidays

With the holidays rapidly approaching we tend to set something aside to worry about all the holiday stuff. However, advertising your site should not be what we set aside. January is one of the busiest times for websites. And if you want to get a jump on the competition then you need to be doing it now and constantly. I know that the holidays can eat up a lot of our money as well. But remember what Henry Ford said:
"A man who stops advertising to save money is like a man who stops a clock to save time."

Take a little time each day to advertise your sites. TopSurfer.com offers many free ways to advertise. I believe that the true difference between a regular person and a successful person is 'complacency'. The regular man is complacent and settles to live his life with just what he can get. A successful man keeps working hard, failure is not an option for him. He keeps trying until he achieves what he was working for. Water can drill through solid rock by consistently dripping.

Are you scared?

On my way home from picking my daughter up at school, I noticed an interesting sight. I have seen it before and it always perplexed me. A smaller bird was chasing and attacking a big bird of prey in the air. Just a few days ago I saw a hawk in a mid air battle trying to catch a pigeon out of a flock of about 300+ pigeons. Yet today, here was one lone bird attacking and chasing a hawk.

I am not sure what caused the battle but as much as I like birds of prey, I always find it to be awesome when the small birds chase the big ones. Maybe it was a mother bird protecting her babies, or maybe it was just protecting itself. The cool thing was it was winning the battle. Maybe the little bird didn't know how little he was. Maybe it was pure stupidity that made it think it could win. Or maybe he knew that if he attacked then the big bird of prey would back down.

Do we sometimes lose battles because we think we are to small and too meager to win the fight so we just give up before it begins? On the TV show The Office last week James Spader closed the special Halloween episode with this thought:

"Fear plays an interesting role in our lives. How dare we let it motivate us. How dare we let it into our decision making, into our livelihoods, into our relationships. It's funny that we take a day each year to dress up in costume to celebrate fear."

I guess what I am saying is, we should not be afraid to do what we want to do. We should not sell ourselves short. Chase those big dreams. I think the reason kids from rich families grow up to have good jobs and make lots of money isn't necessarily because they have a trust fund. I think it is because they see themselves as a big bird. They know that their family has succeeded and so can they. How do you see yourself?
